Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make it possible to control the output of a pump to a desired constant value, by applying the waveform of half-wave rectification of a commercial alternate-current source to a solenoid coil so that the phase control of voltage is carried out.

CONSTITUTION: The output of a waveform which is generated only in the period of a positive half wave of an alternate-current waveform in a saw tooth wave generating circit 5, is applied to the non-inversion output of a comparator U3. If signal is applied to the inversion input of the comparator U3, the comparator U3 turns its output into an H-level as soon as the level of the non-inversion output becomes higher than the inversion input. Therefore, a voltage is applied to a solenoid coil 1 through a thyristor Q1 which is maintained in its energized condition by the H-level output, and therefore, a solenoid oil pump delivers an output in accordance with the R.M.S. of a current corresponding to the waveform of this voltage.
