Title:
DRIVE CIRCUIT FOR SWITCHED RELUCTANCE MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH1141975
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate switching losses and electromagnetic hazards and reduce reverse drive torque. SOLUTION: When a current is carried at windings 2a, 2b, and 2c from resonance capacitors Ca, Cb, and Cc by turning on main switching elements Sam, Sbm, and Scm sequentially, a rotor is rotated. In this case, auxiliary switching elements Sas, Sbs, and Scs in auxiliary circuits 3a, 3b, and 3c are turned on with delays after the main switching elements Sam, Sbm, and Scm have been turned on, so that currents flow in the auxiliary circuits 3a, 3b, and 3c. Then, the winding current is reduced abruptly when a rotation angle of the rotor is near 0 deg. and the winding current is cut, and revere drive torque is reduced, when the rotation angle exceeds 0 deg.. In addition, each switch elements is opened in a zero-current state, and each switch element is opened in soft- switching.
