To provide an AMOLED drive circuit, utilizing current feedback that ensures uniformity of the brightness among the pixels of a flat panel display that utilizes an AMOLED and shortens the time for data supplying.
The AMOLED drive circuit includes a first differential amplifier 200 connected to the current DAC 100 and controlling the input data current and a drive current of a drive transistor T1 of a pixel circuit 1 to be identical to each other; a current mirror 300, mirroring the drive current of a light-emitting diode OLED of the pixel circuit 1 to an input side of the first differential amplifier 200; and a second differential amplifier 400 coupled to the current mirror 300 and controlling the charging and the discharging speeds of a parasitic capacitance CD of the pixel circuit 1. Even if the characteristics of the drive transistor T1 constituting each of the pixels 1 vary from each other, or even if the characteristics change with the lapse of time, the magnitude of the current applied to each of the pixels 1 is so controlled as to be kept constant, regardless thereof.
