To provide a drive control device of an electric racing kart that can safely start an electric racing kart.
The electric racing kart drive control device includes: a motor to drive a driving wheel; a battery to supply power to the motor; an accelerator pedal that generates an accelerator signal corresponding to the pedal depression amount; a drive control part that outputs a drive control signal to perform drive control of the motor according to the accelerator signal; a drive part to drive the drive wheel by feeding the current to the motor according to the size of the drive control signal; and a switch that enables supplying power of the battery to the drive part. At the point when the power of the battery becomes suppliable to the drive part by the switch, the drive control part prohibits the output of the motor when the accelerator signal is detected.
