A drive control device 60 for a hybrid vehicle 1 includes: a synchronization control part 61 executing synchronization control so that an engine rotation speed Ne is synchronized with a motor rotation speed Nm; a clutch mechanism control part 64 executing connection control of a clutch mechanism 30; a torque control part 62 executing a torque control of an engine 10; a rotation speed difference acquisition part 63 acquiring a rotational speed difference Dn between the engine rotation speed Ne and the motor rotation speed Nm; and an actuation period calculation part 65 calculating an actuation period Tr of the clutch mechanism 30 on the basis of the rotational speed difference Dn. When the actuation period Tr elapses after the start of the connection control by the clutch mechanism control part 64, the drive control device 60 starts the torque control by determining that the clutch mechanism 30 is in an engagement state.
