Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive control device for a hybrid vehicle capable of starting the engine even when the car speed is low, and preventing deterioration of comfortable ride arising from the change of driving torque.
SOLUTION: In a drive control device for a hybrid vehicle, an internal combustion engine 1 is selectively connected via a transmission 5 to a power transmission system, to which an electric motor 3 is connected. This device is provided with a motoring means, which connects the internal combustion engines 1 to the power transmission system to rotate it by putting the transmission 5 into an engaged state with fuel supply stopped to the internal combustion engine 1, when the vehicle is driven with the output of the electric motor 3.
