Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive device for hybrid vehicle capable of both supplying lubricating oil to a part to be lubricated and suppressing a decrease in efficiency.SOLUTION: A drive device for hybrid vehicle has: a differential mechanism having an engine, a first rotary machine, a second rotary machine, a first rotary element connected to the first rotary machine, a second rotary element connected to the engine, and a third rotary element connected to the second rotary machine and driving wheels; an oil pump which is connected to an output shaft of the engine and supplies lubricating oil to a part to be lubricated; a restraining device which restrains the first rotary element from rotating; a first lubricating oil supply mode in which the engine is rotated with the power of the first rotary machine to drive and rotate the oil pump; and a second lubricating oil supply mode in which the restraining device restrains the first rotary element from rotating and the engine is rotated to drive and rotate the oil pump, the second lubricating oil supply mode being executed (step S40) when it is predicted that there is a travel environment in which regenerative power generation can be executed during a travel by the second rotary machine as a power source (step S30-Y).
