Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure mounting performance of a vehicle by preventing increase in a size in the axial direction and increase in a size in the radial direction and to ensure output torque of a motor generator. SOLUTION: An intermediate portion 30b of a front cover 30 of a torque converter 5 is axially extended. A lock-up clutch 3 composed of a multi-plate clutch is mounted on an internal diameter side of the intermediate portion and a motor generator 6 is mounted on an external diameter side of the intermediate portion 30b. A dumper spring 41 is disposed on an internal diameter side of friction plates 36, 37 of the lockup clutch 3.
