Abstract:
A rotor support plate (15) has a flat disk (15b) which is fixed to a front cover (32) of a start device (5) such that a torque converter with set blocks (67), bolts (69), and forward portion of the start device are centered by fitting a center portion (33) into a crankshaft (3). A support plate hub (15a) contacts the center portion near a fixed plane (P) of the disk to position a rotor (13) at center region.
