Abstract:
To provide a drive device which suppresses oscillation of a rotating body due to a transmission mechanism and is miniaturized, and to provide an image forming apparatus using the drive device.
The oscillation in a photoreceptor drum 1 due to angular velocity acceleration transmission mechanism is suppressed since angular velocity of a flywheel 61 which is a rotation inertia body is accelerated by a planetary friction wheel mechanism 70. Furthermore, by using the planetary friction wheel mechanism 70, the flywheel 61 can be provided to be coaxial to a rotational shaft 1a of the photoreceptor drum 1, the driving device can be made short in the normal line direction of the rotational shaft and the device can be miniaturized.
