Abstract:
To provide a driving device also having a favorable acceleration/deceleration characteristic when driving one rotary shaft of a carriage roller with two motors.SOLUTION: A driving device 20 transmits a first motor 31 rotating with a first step angle and a second motor 32 rotating with a second step angle to one rotary shaft that drives a carriage roller. A motor controller 21 for controlling the drive of the first and second motors 31 and 32 of the driving device 20 controls the speed of the first motor 31 in multiple steps during acceleration or deceleration, and determines a generation timing of clock signals of the second motor 32 based on a generation timing of clock signals of the first motor 31, and the first and second step angles. The motor controller generates clock signals of the second motor 32 with the determined generation timing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
