PURPOSE: To simplify the drive system of a sawing machine by providing a driven clutch member for a desired saw blade among multiple saw blades indexed and positioned at a cutting position and a drive clutch member interlocked to a drive motor so that they can be engaged freely.

CONSTITUTION: Since four turret type housings 11a to 11d with a saw blade 17 are located on a column 9 in radial direction, and the column 9 can be rotated, the housing with a desired saw blade 17 among the four housings is indexed and positioned at the cutting position. By this, a driven clutch member 99a installed in the column 9 is engaged with a drive clutch member 87 interlocked with a motor 47, and a power is transmitted to drive the saw blade 17 for cutting of a work. Thus the drive method can be simplified without changing a space for machine installation, a drive wheel is fixed during the operations other than cutting, and time for saw blade changing can be reduced.
