Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease frictional resistance and burden upon a jointing pin or the like in the lateral direction and to restrain damege and noise by setting a contact area between a pusher and a return part guide rail small.
SOLUTION: This chain drive device moves a chain 20 by forcibly-rotating a chain wheel through a rotating drive device. In the chain 20, a side link 21 and a center link 22 are supported and guided by the supporting surface 2A of a supporting rail 2 in a working part side guide rail 1. The contact surfaces 4A of both protruding parts 28 in a pusher 25 is supported and guided by the supporting surface 4A of a supporting rail 4 in a return part side guide rail 3. As a result, in the return part side guide rail 3, the small contact surface 28A, or a small area is brought into contact (slide contact), by which its frictional resistance becomes small. It is possible to restrain damage and noise to the maximum because of decreased burden upon a pin 24 in the lateral direction.
