Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive device for vehicles which is small-sized and light weight.
SOLUTION: This drive device 1000 contains a stator 1410, which has a winding and is fixed on a frame, a first rotor 1210 which has a winding and is connected with the output shaft 110 of an engine and axially supported, and a second rotor which is connected with drive wheels 700 and axially supported, forms a circumferential field and is opposed to the stator 1410 on the circumferential surface, and forms an inner circumferential field and is opposed to the first rotor 1210 on the inner circumferential surface. An inner circumferential magnetic circuit is formed between the first rotor 1210 and a second rotor 1310, and a circumferential magnetic circuit is formed between the second rotor 1310 and the stator 1410. Since torque is transmitted and received in this situation, the axial output is efficiently transmitted. Further, since two dynamo electric machines are integrated into one, this double structure contributes to the reduction in size and weight.
