Abstract:
To provide a drive device capable of obtaining a high location accuracy of a slide head even in the case a curve portion is interposed in the movement route of the slide head.
A drive device includes a stopper 413 for retaining a slide head on a rotary rail 41 when the slide head is transferred thereto from a stationary rail extending in a Y-axis direction. The stopper 413 releases the retention when the rotary rail 41 rotates by 90° so that it is connected to a stationary rail extending in a X-direction. Moreover, the rotational drive of the rotary rail 41 is performed when the driving force having been transmitted through a wire 61 from the drive unit to the slide head is transmitted through the stopper 413.
