Abstract:
To provide a drive device comprising a main drive and at least one power generator that can be indirectly or directly driven by the main drive.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a drive device (1) comprising a main drive (3) and one or more PTO power generators (9) that can be driven by the main drive (3) for generating electrical energy on a ship, in which the one or more PTO power generators (9) can be driven by the main drive (3) via a single-stage gearbox (10) having a gearbox housing (10a). In the drive device (1), the main drive (3) has a crankshaft (1), the crankshaft (1) is indirectly coupled to the single-stage gearbox (10) via an elastic coupling (6) such that rotational movement of the crankshaft (1) is transmitted to a gearbox input shaft (5) of the gearbox (10) to drive the PTO power generators (9), and the PTO power generators (9) are arranged coaxially around the gearbox input shaft (5) of the gearbox (10).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
