Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive device capable of properly lubricating a torque limiter in a structure where the torque limiter is disposed at the exterior of a reduction gear chamber for storing a gear reducer.SOLUTION: A drive device 1 includes: a gear reducer 4 which outputs rotations of an electric motor 3 while decelerating the rotations; and a torque limiter 5 which interrupts transmission of a driving force from the electric motor 3 to the gear reducer 4 when torque of the electric motor 3 is equal to or higher than a predetermined value. The torque limiter 5 is disposed at the exterior of a gear chamber G for storing the gear reducer 4. A connection shaft 15 extending to the electric motor 3 side is provided at an input gear shaft 12 of the gear reducer 4. The connection shaft 15 penetrates through a hollow part 11 of a rotor shaft 9 to be connected with the torque limiter 5. A space R between the rotor shaft 9 and the connection shaft 15 forms a part of a lubrication oil supply passage 31 for supplying a lubrication oil J accumulated in the gear chamber G from the gear reducer 4 to the torque limiter 5.
