Abstract:

To provide a friction electric drive force distribution device not generating lack of cooling of an output side roller by surely cooling the output side roller having a heating amount greater than an input side roller.

Part of torque to a main drive wheel is successively transmitted from the input side roller 31 to a driven wheel through the output side roller 32, an eccentric coupling 41 and an output shaft 15. A rotation speed of the output side roller 32 is slower than that of the input side roller 31 by a slip degree during the transmission, and the heating amount of the output side roller 32 having the slow rotation speed is greater than the heating amount of the input side roller 31 having the fast rotation speed. Therefore, a first groove 42 extending in a circumferential direction is provided on the outer peripheral surface 31a of the input side roller 31. Since the first groove 42 retains oil even at a friction contact part of the rollers 31, 32 by a volume degree at the position of the first groove 42, the scattering amount of oil scraped up by the input side roller 31 and mainly directed to the second roller 32 becomes greater than the scattering amount of oil scraped up by the output side roller 32 and mainly directed to the input side roller 31. Thereby, the output side second roller 32 having the much heating amount can be prevented from being short of cooling.
