PURPOSE: To transmit a rotation power through shearing resistance of oil, to enable manufacture of an agitating rotor at a low cost, and to prevent the occurrence of hump phenomenon, by a method wherein a housing is filled with high viscosity oil and balls, and an agitating rotor is mounted on a rotary shaft.
CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical containing hole 31, the one end of which is open, and a first support hole 32 are formed in a housing 30. A piston 33 and a cover 34 are engaged with the containing hole 31. A second support hole 36 is formed in the cover 34, and a rotary shaft 41 is supported in the first and second holes 32 and 36 through bearings 39 and 40. A plurality of radially externally protruded agitating rods 42 are secured on the rotary shaft 41, and an agitating rotor 56 is formed with the agitating rods 42. An internal space 5 formed with the containing hole 31 and the piston 33 is sealed with high viscosity oil 51 and balls 52. An input shaft 15 is mounted to the housing 30 and an output shaft 16 to the rotary shaft 41.
