Title:
DRIVE MODULE FOR TWO-FOOT WALKING TOY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002200367
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a mechanism, which performs walking motions as if a human actually walks on a floor surface with two feet moved in turn and is adaptable to not only a single two-foot walking toy as if the human actually walks but also the advertisement of a character or the like for exhibition or sales promotion.

Coils of electromagnets stored in two foot sections 7 and 8 are excited in turn, and a two-foot walk can be performed on the surface of a floor material 48 made of a magnetic substance as if the human actually walks. The foot sections are lifted in turn via gear and cam trains driven by motors. This mechanism is provided with a selector switch, which does not excite the coil of the electromagnet in the lifted foot section but excites the coil of the electromagnet in the foot section abutting the surface of the floor material made of the magnetic substance, so that the electromagnets in the foot sections are excited in turn to attract the floor material made of the magnetic substance.
