Abstract:
To provide a drive signal setting method suitable for accurately setting a drive signal according to characteristics of a nozzle.
The method includes a step A of calculating a discharge quantity of each nozzle related to supply of drive signal in a predetermined condition by moving average; a step B of sorting a plurality of nozzles to a plurality of groups based on the discharge quantity of each nozzle calculated by moving average; a step C of calculating, based on a statistic value of discharge quantity related to each group, an adequate condition of drive signal corresponding to each group; and a step D of selecting and setting one of adequate conditions corresponding respectively to the plurality of groups.
