A drive source abnormality detection device 1 for detecting abnormalities of an internal combustion engine controlled so as to maintain a target rotational speed ω0, includes: a rotational speed detection unit 10 for detecting a rotational speed ωR of the internal combustion engine; a load torque detection unit 11 for detecting pump absorption torque TP; and a drive source abnormality detection unit 12 for detecting the abnormalities of the internal combustion engine on the basis of comparison of an actual rotational speed deviation ΔωR between a rotational speed ωR detected by the rotational speed detection unit 10 and the target rotational speed ω0, with an estimated rotational speed deviation ΔωV calculated from the pump absorption torque TP detected by the load torque detection unit 11.
