Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enhance operation rate of a plant by selecting the motors depending on the number of sound inverters upon failure of inverters within a predetermined number during restart operation and restarting the selected motors.
CONSTITUTION: Upon failure of inverters 1-3 within a predetermined number during restart operation, a control section 7 opens high speed circuit breakers 10, 15 in the inverters 1-3 to disconnect the failed inverters 1-3 from a common bus. Operation of sound inverters 1-3 is interrupted temporarily and all switches 4 are opened and then the motors 5, preset depending on the number of sound inverters 1-3, are selected to restart the operation. Subsequently, an operating section 8 closes the switches 4 for the motors 5 selected at the control section 7 to restart the operation of the system. This constitution enhances the operation rate of a plant.
