To provide a drive system capable of shutting down the supply of a DC voltage to a motor even if a relay is fixed in an ON-state in a two-wheel driving mode.
A generating device 50 comprises a current-supply circuit 51, a generator 52, a regulator 53, and a Zener diode 54. The current-supply circuit 51 supplies a field current Ik to the rotor coil 521 of the generator 52. The generator 52 generates an AC voltage corresponding to the field current Ik and the rotational speed of the engine. The regulator 53 converts the AC voltage generated by the generator 52 to DC voltage. The Zener diode 54, when the DC voltage from the regulator 53 is at least the Zener voltage, supplies the DC voltage to the motor as a generating voltage Vh, and when the DC voltage from the regulator 53 is lower than the Zener voltage, stops the supply to the motor of the DC voltage.
