To effectively utilize waste heat from a fuel battery for raising a temperature of an exhaust gas treatment device in the downstream side of a turbine, in a configuration for supplying the exhaust of the fuel battery to the upstream side of the turbine.
When an exhaust temperature of the fuel battery 4 is not higher than an exhaust temperature of an engine 2, a first FC exhaust passage 22a is selected, and an exhaust gas from the fuel battery 4 is supplied to the turbine 3T. When the exhaust temperature of the fuel battery 4 is higher than the exhaust temperature of the engine 2, a second FC exhaust passage 22b is selected, and the exhaust gas from the fuel battery 4 is supplied to a catalyst device 11 and a DPF 12. A loss caused by the interception of the waste heat from the fuel battery 4 by the turbine 3T can be suppressed, and the waste heat from the fuel battery 4 can be effectively utilized for raising temperatures of the catalyst devise 11 and the DPF 12.
