Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive transmission device capable of switching on/off of transmission of rotational driving force with a simple structure, and capable of surely transmitting rotational driving force in a normal rotating direction and a reverse rotating direction.SOLUTION: A drive transmission device includes an input gear 101, an output gear 102, a relay gear 103 to which rotational driving force is transmitted from the input gear and held in such a manner that a rotation axis is movable between a first position meshed with the output gear and a second position not meshed with the output gear, regulating means for regulating movement of the rotation axis of the relay gear at the first position in a state that the relay gear and the input gear are meshed with each other, and regulating release means for releasing movement regulation of the rotation axis of the relay gear. The regulating means can change the posture between a first posture for regulating the movement of the rotation axis of the relay gear in a direction separated from the output gear in the first position and a second posture for allowing the movement of the rotation axis of the relay gear in the direction separated from the output gear. When the rotation axis of the relay gear is moved to the first position, the posture is changed from the second posture to the first posture by gravity.
