Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive unit using friction wheels, which can easily and properly adjust a friction force between the friction wheels.SOLUTION: In a third intermediate friction wheel 33, a large-diameter part 33a is integrally formed at a base end of a rotating shaft part 38, and a hollow-shaped elastic body 7 is incorporated into the outside of the rotating shaft part 38. A screw part 8 is formed at an external peripheral face of a tip 38b of a rotating shaft member 38 of the third intermediate friction wheel 33, and a nut 80 which presses and compresses the elastic body 7 to an axial direction is screwed into the screw part 8. The nut 80 is exposed to the outside of a case 1. When changing a compression amount of the elastic body 7 in the axial direction by adjusting fastening by the nut 80, an outside diameter of the elastic body 7 is changed, and a friction force between the elastic body 7 and the other 40 of the friction-contacting friction wheels can be adjusted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
