To further simplify and rationalize manufacture and assembly by arranging a sealing element between a transmission housing and a retarder and separating lubricant of a retarder bearing and/or a transmission from a working medium of the retarder.
A seal 2.8 having a double function is provided between a transmission housing and a retarder 3, firstly sealing is carried out on lubricant and/or transmission oil, and secondly sealing is carried out on a working medium of the retarder 3. The retarder can be also driven by a working medium different from oil, and in this case, it is considered so that the working medium of the retarder 3 and the lubricant of a transmission 2 are not transmitted and connected to each other, and it is performed by the seal 2.8. It is possible to further simplify and rationalize manufacture and assembly of the retarder 3 and the transmission 2 and to reduce cost of them.
