Title:
DRIVE WHEEL DEVICE MOVABLE IN DESIRED SIDE SHIFTING DIRECTION AND ELEVATION WORK VEHICLE EQUIPPED WITH THE DRIVE WHEEL DEVICE, AND SIDE SHIFTING OPERATION METHOD OF THE ELEVATION WORK VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0656007
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To realize the crablike side crawl movement of an elevation work vehicle in a state in which the direction of the elevation work vehicle coincides with a side shifting direction at all times, on an approach road leading to a building that is an object of construction, by conducting the linkage and connection of a turning force giving mechanism for pointing a side shifting direction and a drive wheel side shifting action mechanism.

CONSTITUTION: A drive wheel side shifting action mechanism 27 which is composed of a drive turning shaft 21 inserted from the side direction of the head part of a front piston rod 45 and a drive wheel 65, and a drive motor 61 to give turning force to the drive wheel 65, is provided. Next, turning movement is made by means of a pressurizing fluid that has made outer contact with a partition member and has been run into a pipe body, and at the same time connection is made attachable/detachable to/from a rear piston rod 49. A turning force giving mechanism 3 for pointing a side shifting direction which is composed of a turning shaft 21 that turns the rear piston rod 49 on the same axis and contains a brake device, is provided. The crablike side crawl movement of an elevation work vehicle becomes possible by conducting the linkage and connection of this turning force giving mechanism 3 for pointing a side shifting direction and the drive wheel side shifting action mechanism 27.
