Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device in which a usable area for an electric motor can be enlarged.SOLUTION: A vehicular driving device 100 comprises: an electric motor 102 to be connected to a wheel W to be able to transmit power; a clutch CL, provided on a power transmission route between the electric motor 102 and the wheel W, which can change the power transmission capacity of the power transmission route by controlling fastening power; an electric motor control device 108a for controlling power generated by the electric motor 102; a fastening power control device 108b for controlling the fastening power of the clutch CL; and fastening power acquiring means 104 for acquiring the fastening power of the clutch CL. The electric motor control device 108b, when receiving a request for power generation in a state where the electric motor 102 is not generating power, controls permission for and/or prohibition of power generation by the electric motor 102, on the basis of current fastening power of the clutch CL and required fastening power that is fastening power of the clutch CL required for transmitting the maximum generated power of the electric motor 102 at the current rotation state quantity of the electric motor 102.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
