Abstract:
To provide a driving device which secures stable movement of a rack and has the reduced number of members which are abutted on the rack in order to regulate the movement of the rack.SOLUTION: A rack assembly 5 is relatively moved with respect to a base body 2 by drive of a driving part 3, a support member 6 includes a first suppression part (a first support part 6a) which is abutted on the rack assembly 5 and suppresses movement to such a separation direction that the rack assembly 5 is separated from a rotary gear 4 and a second suppression part (a second support part 6b) which is abutted on the rack assembly 5 and suppresses movement to directions vertical to such a direction that the rack assembly 5 is moved by rotation of the rotary gear 4 and the separation direction, the rack assembly 5 has a first suppressed part 51b1 which is abutted on the first suppression part of the support member 6 and is elongated in the movement direction of the rack assembly 5 and a second suppressed part 51b2 which is abutted on the second suppression part of the support member 6 and is elongated in the movement direction of the rack assembly 5, the second suppressed part 51b2 is provided on the inside of the rack assembly 5 and the support member 6 supports the rack assembly 5 from the inside thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
