Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operator posture detection device capable of accurately detecting a posture of an operator.SOLUTION: An operator posture detection device which is applied to a saddle-riding type vehicle 1 comprising a seat 29 on which an operator P seats, comprises: a body position positioning control device 100 which uses radio communication devices 50, 51 which are arranged on at least three different positions on a vehicle body side, and at least one body position sensor 80, 85 on a body side of the operator P and can communicate with the radio communication devices 50, 51. The body position positioning control device 100 detects that, a hip position PS of the operator P is positioned in a seating determination range E which is set in the surrounding of the seat 29 in vehicle body plan view, or detects that, leg parts LG of the operator P are positioned at position where the leg parts straddle the seat 29, for determining that the operator P is in a riding posture. The body position sensor 85 for detecting the hip position PS is arranged in the surrounding of the lumbar part or hip part of the operator P.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
