PURPOSE: To reduce the number of parts and manhour in assembling promote the downsizing and the cost reduction by forming a flange part at the housing of a motor, and calking it to the chassis thereby junctioning it.
CONSTITUTION: The housing 30 of a motor is the shape of a cylinder consisting of a small-diameter part 31 and a large-diameter part 32, and a flange 34 is made in the large-diameter part 32, and the bottom face of the flange 34 is abutted against the chassis 1, and the calking part 33 is calked, whereby the housing 30 is attached in stable posture to the chassis 1. A lower ball bearing 4 is set to the large-diameter part 35 through a corrugated washer 35, and an upper ball bearing 4 is retained with a small-diameter part 31, and a shaft 3 is coupled with the inner ring of the ball bearing 4 by stop rings 8 and 9. A rotor yoke 10 is junctioned with the top end of a shaft 3, and a rotor magnet 11 is fixed to the inside periphery of the rotor yoke 10. A stator coil 12 is supported by the small-diameter part 31 of the housing 30.
