To provide a driver of a low current consumption, low heat generation inkjet print head, a control method of the driver, and a liquid drop ejector.
The driver of an inkjet print head comprises a section 111 for holding a data sequence for ejecting liquid drops from a plurality of nozzles, a section 112 for judging a data sequence thus held, a shift register 113 for outputting a judged data sequence to the inkjet print head 150, and a section 114 for generating a clock signal for driving the shift register 113. The data judging section 112 makes a decision whether the data sequence has a specified arrangement or not. When the data sequence has a specified arrangement, the clock signal generating section 114 stops generation of an internal shift clock signal ICLK2 and the shift register 113 outputs the data sequence having the specified arrangement to the inkjet print head 150.
