To provide a driver for medical equipment which enables instantaneous analysis of data stored in the driver with a personal computer or the like while maintaining insulating ability thereof.
This driver for medical equipment is provided to drive a balloon catheter which is so arranged to directly contact the body of a patient, and which has a CPU 74 for monitoring driving condition to monitor the driving condition of the driver and a memory card 70 detachably mounted through a connector 72 to store data of the driving condition monitored by the CPU for monitoring the driving condition. The CPU 74 for monitoring the driving condition samples the driving condition of the driver for a specified time at each specified interval and the data of the driving condition is stored in time series into the memory card 70. When the memory capacity of the memory card 70 is filled, the data are stored in hierarchic sequence starting from the oldest one.
