PURPOSE: To make it possible to generate sufficient thrust at the time of high speed traveling by preventing abrasion of tire due to friction against pavement.
CONSTITUTION: The driver for vehicle comprises a superconducting magnet and a cryostat for housing the superconducting magnet and establishing cryogenic state therein, wherein the cryostat is supported rotatably on a body 12 of vehicle and rotated while being fed with power from a power supply 19. The body 12 of vehicle is further provided with a cooling system 20 producing cryogenic chill. A chill feeder interposed between the body 12 and the cryostat feeds the cryostat with chill. When the superconducting magnet is fed with power from the power supply 19 and rotates, the body 12 levitates through magnetic function on a track 15 laid with reaction plates 17 and then thrusted forward while being guided.
