The driving apparatus includes: a motor 51; a drum 53 (drum type rotator) that is rotatably provided; an inner disk 75 (input side disk) that is provided between the motor 51 and the drum 53, and is rotatably driven by the motor 51; a clutch 55 that rotates with the drum 53 and comprises an outer disk 77 (output side disk) provided on the same axis with the inner disk 75; and a switch mechanism 57 that brings the inner disk 75 into contact with the outer disk 77 using a conversion mechanism for converting a rotational movement of the motor 51 into a linear movement.
