Abstract:
To provide a driving assist system capable of highly precisely recognizing a human body, and alleviating a processing load imposed on recognition processing.SOLUTION: In a driving assist system 10, a human body identification unit 66b acquires as human body information an image of a human body, which exists around an own vehicle 12, out of image data acquired by a camera 44. A quasi-skeleton estimation unit 66c estimates a quasi-skeleton of the human body using the human body information. A radar 46 or LiDAR 48 measures a distance from a portion associated with the quasi-skeleton of the human body. Accordingly, the measurement range of the radar or LiDAR is converged only on the human body portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
