PURPOSE: To provide a driving circuit for liquid crystal display device which can suppress occurrence of distrubance of a stripe state at a division boundary caused by a difference of characteristics between a D/A converter circuit and an amplifier circuit and can contribute to improvement of quality of a displayed picture, even when a driving method for dividing a screen is used.
CONSTITUTION: In a driving circuit for a liquid crystal display device provided with a digital signal processing circuit 11 which processes a picture signal with a digital signal and outputs it in parallel, a D/A converter circuit 13 which converts digital picture signals to analog picture signals respectively, an amplifier circuit 14 which amplifies analog picture signal respectively, and a X driver 16 which samples plural amplified analog picture signals and outputs them to a liquid crystal display panel 18, the first switching element 12 is provided between the circuit 11 and the circuit 13, and the second switching element 15 is provided between the circuit 14 and the circuit 16, then the D/A converter circuit 13 and the amplifier circuit 14 are replaced each other every specified period by switching elements 12 and 15 without changing combination of output of the digital signal processing circuit 11 and the X driver 16.
