Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily realize an EL driving circuit for contriving miniaturization and cost reduction.
CONSTITUTION: A relaxation oscillating circuit is constituted by connecting a resistor 2 and an EL element 3 in series to an output of a DC high voltage power supply 1 and by connecting a current control type negative resistance element 4 in parallel to the EL element 3, to luminously drive the EL element 3 by saw tooth-shaped high voltage. By simplifying a circuit constitution to decrease a number of parts with no large sized part required, miniaturization and cost reduction are facilitated.
