To provide a driving circuit of a fluorescent display device which is allowed to correspond to a plurality of kinds of segment voltages without increasing the number of segment drivers IC for driving segments of a fluorescent display tube.
The output voltage Vcc1 of output terminals S1 to Sm, Sn of a driver IC 3 is applied directly to the segments S1 to Sm, Sn of a fluorescent display tube 4, but the output voltage Vcc1 of an output terminal Sn-1 is applied to a voltage shifting circuit 5. When the voltage shifting circuit 5 is applied with the voltage Vcc1, the circuit outputs a voltage Vcc2 to apply it to the segment Sn-1 of the display tube 4. Thus, it becomes unnecessary to add a driver IC which outputs the voltage Vcc2 like in the conventional practice in this driving circuit.
