Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption at the time of motor-stop by providing transistors in series at the other end of resistors that are connected to driving windings and supplying a low voltage to the driving windings by way of reverse-current blocking diodes. CONSTITUTION:During the period a motor is running, a high level signal is given to a transistor Tr6 from a control circuit 1, a transistor Tr5 is turned on, and an input voltage E is applied to driving windings L1-L4 through resistors R1 and R2. During the period the motor is stopped, a low-level signal is applied to the transistor Tr6 from the control circuit 1, the transistor Tr5 is turned off, the voltage supply is stopped, and a voltage lower than the input voltage is applied to the driving windings L1-L4 by way of diodes Do. Since power consumption at resistors R1 and R2 becomes zero and retaining power at the driving windings becomes small, the total power consumption can be reduced and efficiency can be enhanced.
