Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of a switching transistor or other accidents, by providing a trigger pulse generation unit and a timer unit for stopping a driving signal for a prescrived time by the output signal of the trigger pulse generation unit. CONSTITUTION:The falling of an output pulse is processed by monostable circuits 7a, 7b to obtain a monostable output. Two output signals are applied from AND circuits AND3, AND4 to an OR circuit OR wherein the output signals are combined with each other. Oscillation can be stopped by either of the output signals. The output of the OR circuit is applied to a timer circuit 8 which is of the edge trigger type, the timer of which is operated by the rising part of a signal. As a result, an abnormal signal is quickly detected to prevent the damage of a stansistor.
