Title:
DRIVING CONTROL DEVICE FOR OUTBOARD MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000045837
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To appropriately reduce engine speed without causing engine stall when a throttle valve is abruptly fully closed.

In this control device, a full close condition sensing means 37 outputs a full close sensing signal when a throttle valve 25 is fully closed. Control means 31, 32 control an opening of an air control valve. A time counting means 34 counts a constant time upon reception of the full close sensing signal. An engine speed sensing means 36 senses an engine speed. An initial value setting means 31 sets the engine speed for starting control of an opening by the control means, upon reception of the full close sensing signal. The control means fix the opening of the air control valve 25 at the time of receiving the full close sensing signal until the constant time counted by the time counting means 34 passes. After the constant time, the engine speed is decreased by specified rates per unit time.
