Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving controller for a vehicle, capable of linkingly performing turning and acceleration of the vehicle at a curved road, and smooth driving without any uncomfortable feeling.
SOLUTION: This controller comprises a vehicle speed setting means 14 of setting a speed for the self vehicle to travel as a set vehicle speed in advance, a steering angle detecting means 6 of detecting a steering angle, a yaw rate detecting means 11 of detecting a yaw rate, a lane recognizing means 1 for recognizing a lane form of a vehicle front road, and the vehicle speed control means of accelerating to the preset vehicle speed by acceleration control corresponding to each reduction when any of the steering angle detected by the steering angle detecting means 6, the yaw rate detected by the yaw rate detecting means 11, a curvature of the front road recognized by the lane recognizing means 1 is shifted to reduction after deceleration is made for driving from the preset vehicle speed at the time of driving on the curved road.
