Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make simple structure and improve precision by using a solenoid with its plunger moving up and down and installing a controller under the solenoid so as to conform each motion of an air actuator, the solenoid and the controller to the up-and-down direction of the plunger. CONSTITUTION:A solenoid 2 with its plunger 4 moving up and down in almost direct proportion to variation in input signals in to an electric coil is used, and under this solenoid 2 is installed a controller 3 composed of a casing 8, a sleeve 9, and a spool 10. The sleeve 9 of the controller 3 is put in contact with the output member of an air actuator 30, and each motion of the air actuator 30, the solenoid 2 and the controller 3 is conformed to the up-and-down direction of the solenoid plunger. With this constitution, the structure is made simpler and smaller in size with improved positioning accuracy as, in comparison with conventional controllers, because complicated feedback mechanism can be eliminated.
