This driving device is constituted of a pair of right and left driving mechanisms connected by a synchronizing mechanism fixed on a frame of the bicycle and comprising a gear for synchronizing and a rack for synchronizing. In the respective driving mechanisms, a pinion 11 for driving and a rack 7 for driving supported by a guide and extending linearly are provided so as to mesh to each other. The pinion for driving is connected to a wheel to operate through a chain, and the rack for driving is fixed on a pedal 9.
