PURPOSE: To stop a motor completely by synchronizing a brushless motor with a synchronous clock signal to operate and generating the synchronous clock signal in accordance with output of a rotor position detection means.
CONSTITUTION: A driving device of a brushless motor 8 is constituted of a rotor position detection circuit 1, a synchronous clock signal generation circuit 2, a clock counter 3, a counter detection circuit 4, a timing controlling circuit 5, a hold/reset circuit 6 and a current driving circuit 7. The generation circuit generates a synchronous clock signal in accordance with an output signal of the rotor position detection circuit 1. The timing controlling circuit 5 outputs signals to control the timing and period of each coil current of a stator in accordance with the signal, and the motor 8 is driven through the current driving circuit 7. The counter detection circuit 4 detects an output value of the counter 3, and above-mentioned reset circuit 6 outputs a control signal to the controlling circuit 5.
