PURPOSE: To provide a driving device of a gear pump for high viscosity resin that enables anybody to easily match the phase of a biting part of a gear coupling when the gear pump for high viscosity resin is mounted on the driving device by using the gear coupling.
CONSTITUTION: A biaxially driving gear pump for high viscosity resin, for which a pair of gear rotors comprising a gear part and an axis part are arranged in a bitten condition while a gap is formed, and a timing gear having a pair of output axes to be connected to the biaxial parts of the gear pump, are formed in a pump housing having a suction port and a discharge port. A pair of gear couplings 1 having biting parts on both sides, are provided on each of the biaxial parts of the gear pump and of the connected parts of both output axes of the timing gear. By making the number of teeth of biting parts 2, 3 on both ends of one gear coupling 1 different from one another, matching of the phase of the biting part 3 is easily carried out by anybody.
