Abstract:

To provide a driving device of a hybrid vehicle capable of lowering its cost and being miniaturized.

This driving device of the hybrid vehicle has a first input shaft 21 connected with an engine 11, a second input shaft 22 connected with a motor 13, a common output shaft 23, a first frictional engagement means 61 for selectively transmitting engine torque input to the first input shaft, shift stages R2-R6 constituted between the input shaft and the output shaft, a shift stage constituted between the second input shaft and the output shaft, a group of engagement means 62-64 for selectively connecting the shift stage for driving the engine and the shift stage for the motor, connecting the first input shaft or the second input shaft with the output shaft, and connecting the first input shaft and the second input shaft in being released, and a frictional engagement control means 80 for controlling the motion of each engagement means. When a battery is charged by using the engine and the motor, the group of engagement means is released, and the fastening force of the first frictional engagement means 61 is controlled to be applied as power generation torque of the motor 13.
